Coralee Barkela ~ Sonoma County Real Estate Broker

Born and raised in London England, I lived most of my youth being educated in private schools in Europe prior to moving to America in 1964. I attended college and shortly thereafter relocated to the Los Angeles area. It was in Souther California where I began to specialize in the sale of luxury homes and estate properties in coastal areas of Newport Beach, Laguna Beach,and Dana Point.

I settled in Santa Rosa in 1984 and partnered with Bob Bazzono for the purpose of opening the real estate company known as Barkela-Bazzano. It was this Santa Rosa real estate brokerage that was among the first in Sonoma County to specialize in the sale of luxury properties. Barkela-Bazzano recieved the Sonoma Business Magazine's "Golden Egg Award" in 1988 for outstanding achievement for selling more than 50% of all properties over one million dollars. In 1989 I sold my interest in Barkela-Bazzano to concentrate on the marketing of luxury homes and estate properties in Santa Rosa and the surrounding Sonoma County area using my knowledge and skills acquired over the years.

Currently I am known throughout the Santa Rosa real estate community as the "Upscale Property Broker". I rely on my vast knowledge and experience to continually market and sell luxury homes and estates. I have ranked in the upper three Sonoma County Real Estate Brokers for sales volume on numerous occasions.

Additionally I have been number one over a period of five years for average sales price - consistently over $500,000 - and have been distinguished as the "Top Producer" for the upper end of Sonoma County housing sales. In 1996 I attained the top 10 of 4,400 agents in the nation while working for RE/MAX real estate in Santa Rosa. I opened and maintained my own Santa Rosa Real Estate office Coralee Barkela & Co. for 9 years prior to purchasing Pacific Union Residential Brokerage in January of 2006.
